Dr. Andrew Lockie, M.B., Ch.B., MRCGP, M.F. Hom., Dip. Obst. RCOG, is a qualified homeopathic physician and a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Faculty of Homeopathy. He has practiced as a homeopathic physician for the past 22 years and was a founding member of and teacher at the Homeopathic Physicians Teaching Group in Oxford, where homeopathy is taught to doctors and other health professionals. Dr. Lockie has written numerous articles for both the medical and lay press, and authored DK's Encyclopedia of Homeopathy. Visit Dr. Lockie at drlockie.com Dr. Nicola Geddes, M.B., Ch.B., M.Sc. This is a great book to own if you want to learn and heal with homeopathic medicine. The secret to homeopathic remedies success is "the laws of similar" like cures like.
* Homeopathy is Gentle and Powerful
*Homeopathy does not wage war on disease and seek to destroy the symptoms of disease through brute force.
*It does not bring substances into the body as is done with allopathic drugs, for the purpose of doing hand to hand combat against disease. Instead, homeopathy and its remedies are intended to gently stimulate and strengthen the body so that it can overcome illness through its own vital force and strength.
*Homeopathic remedies restore the natural ability of the body to defend itself against illness and to heal itself. When this happens, a person is truly cured of what ails him.
I think anybody that wants to learn and heal with homeopathic medicine should own this book. 5 stars all the way.

Interesting read

I was turned on to homeopathy recently, as I am continually searching for natural remedies for ailments and allergies... and just regular "human maintenance". I purchased this book, and while I am glad I did... I wouldn't personally recommend it to anyone.
The book is full of information and does a good job of explaining Homeopathy. It is filled with color and images and examples... you won't run out of things to read or get bored reading it.
My problem is... I could not figure out the chart tests! And when I THINK I got them figured out, I didn't match up to things I know about myself. I would be more interested in using this book with someone that knows more about homeopathy... to see their viewpoint.
it's a fun book to read to gain understanding, but I didn't find anything in it I felt I would be able to apply to my personal life.
