Allan Gaw, MD, PhD, FRCPath, FFPM is Director of Operations at the Glasgow Clinical Research Facility. He is the author or editor of 14 books mostly on the subjects of Clinical Biochemistry, Cardiovascular Research, and Lipid Metabolism.

Fascinating Journey into Clinical Trials

If you read the author's other book "On Moral Grounds: Lessons from the History of Research Ethics", then this is another very interesting exploration into the world of our clinical history. Very readable, entertaining and thought provoking, a highly recommended read.
